Tony Ede  A good man.  A good mason.  A good friend.  A tremendous inspiration to all who had the fortune to meet him.  I will never forget this larger than life Gentle Man.  God Bless Tony.  R.I.P Much love to Sylvia.

Tony was a dear friend and fellow Mason. He was an inspiration to me and many more Masons. His enthusiasm for and dedication to the craft were without equal. His adherance to his obligation as a Mason was without question nevertheless he remained, without doubt, the consumate family man putting his family before all else whilst always making time for his extended Masonic family. It has been remarked by all that Tony was a big man and he most certainly was, huge in stature but bigger yet in his heart. The coroner will no doubt eventually say that Tony's heart let him down. It may well be that Tony's enthusiasm and need to get on with life let his heart down but his heart remained steadfast to the end and let no-one down least of all Tony. He will be sorely missed but ever remembered.

Very sad to hear the news about Tony. He was a larger than life figure that I will always remember with great admiration from my early years at the lodge.
